Visual Artist

Boris Veliz

I transform spaces, skin, and images into visual stories.

Boris Veliz is an Italo-Ecuadorian visual artist based in Milan. His artistic practice encompasses large-scale murals, scenography, digital illustration, tattoo design and conceptual projects.

The thread connecting his work is the exploration of identity, migration and cultural dialogue, through physical interventions in space and images in constant tension between reality and myth.

Assistant set designer for RAI (Camera Cafè), he has created works for the Campari Group, the Ecuador Consulate in Milan and numerous public and private spaces in Italy and abroad.

His work has been featured by la Repubblica, Sky Arte, Artribune, LINKIESTA and several international publications.
